John Berg

John Berg serves as the Assistant Vice President of Marketing at UF Health since May 2020, following a successful tenure as Board Member and Marketing Advisor at LexDock. Previously, John held the position of Vice President, System Marketing at SCL Health, where responsibilities included unifying a brand across 140+ locations post-merger, leading to significant increases in brand awareness and associate satisfaction, as well as implementing advanced marketing strategies that attracted over 70,000 new patient leads annually. John’s career also includes roles such as Executive Director of Strategic Market Development at Sparrow Health System, Director of Business Development at Covenant HealthCare, and various marketing management positions at Foote Health System and Battle Creek Health System. Additionally, John is a former Captain in the United States Army Reserve, with extensive leadership experience. John holds a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Public Health from Western Michigan University.
