Yashasvi Bhat

Yashasvi Bhat is an experienced Battery Management System Engineer at Solar Gators since September 2019, responsible for designing and testing custom battery management systems while ensuring safe operational parameters through collaboration with other subsystems. In addition to engineering duties, Yashasvi holds the position of Treasurer at Solar Gators, managing a budget exceeding $50,000 annually and coordinating funding needs across multiple projects. Previous experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Dominion Energy, Teaching Assistant for C++ Programming for Engineers at UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, and a Shift Supervisor at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Yashasvi also served as a Senator for the University of Florida Student Government, focused on improving student welfare, and as a Collegiate Affairs Ambassador for the Freshman Leadership Engineering Group, aimed at enhancing the extracurricular experience for new engineering students. Yashasvi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, obtained in 2023.
