Ben Hartweg

Ben Hartweg has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ben began their career in 2007 as a Computer Programmer at United Life Insurance Company. In 2014, Ben joined UFG Insurance as an SQL Design Analyst and worked their way up to become a Senior Database Administrator, Database Administrator Technical Lead, and eventually the Database Administrator Team Lead. Throughout their time at UFG Insurance, Ben's responsibilities have included database administration and SQL design analysis. In addition to their corporate experience, Ben also served in the Iowa Army National Guard from 2003 to 2017, with the rank of Battalion S6.

Ben Hartweg completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Computer Programming/Analyst from Indian Hills Community College, attending from 2004 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ Certification from CompTIA in May 2010 and the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from the same institution in March 2016. Furthermore, Ben acquired the Certified BigID Associate Specialist certification from BigID in October 2019 and the Certified BigID Master Specialist certification in February 2020. Additionally, they completed the SentryOne Training for End Users from SentryOne in March 2020. Most recently, in October 2022, Ben earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
