David Birnbaum

David Birnbaum is a seasoned technology operations executive currently serving as Vice President of Technology Operations at UFG Insurance since August 2024. Birnbaum has been a Managing Member of The Food Cycle since May 2013, where the enterprise focuses on a farm/brewery/distillery model in the greater New York City area, successfully raising funds for a brewery, distillery, and farm. Previously, Birnbaum held the position of Chief Information Officer at ImOn Communications from October 2022 to April 2024, concentrating on IT strategy. From March 2019 to October 2022, Birnbaum worked at Freeman Clarke as a fractional CIO/CTO and helped launch its U.S. business, facilitating business development in key Northeast markets. Additionally, Birnbaum served as a mentor and advisor at Work-Bench from March 2017 to May 2022, guiding startups through technological and business challenges. David Birnbaum holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Economics from New Mexico State University.
