David Schmitz

David Schmitz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in workers' compensation and athletic training. Currently serving as a Senior Workers' Compensation Specialist at UFG Insurance since October 2016, David previously held the position of Workers' Compensation Specialist within the same company. Prior experience includes roles as an Athletic Trainer at Mercy Medical Center and as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Wayne State College. David's career began as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at CNOS. Academically, David holds a Master's degree in Sports and Organizational Management from Wayne State College and a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Coe College.
