Jake Barrera

Jake Barrera is a seasoned Senior Risk Control Consultant at UFG Insurance since February 2020, previously holding the position of Risk Control Representative. With extensive experience in the safety and health sector, Jake served as HSE Director at Genco Energy Services, Inc. from September 2014 to November 2019, and was a Safety Services Consultant at Texas Mutual Insurance Company from December 2006 to September 2014, where responsibilities included hazard identification and corrective action implementation. Earlier in the career, Jake functioned as Safety Director at RM Walsdorf Inc., focusing on safety programs and training, and as On-Site Safety Coordinator for Chemical Response & Remediation Company, coordinating safety efforts during environmental emergencies.
