Julie A. Stephenson

Julie Stephenson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at UFG Insurance since January 2023, Julie previously held the role of Global Head Casualty Reinsurance and Group Managing Director at Swiss Re from October 2021 to January 2023. Before that, Julie was with CNA Insurance, where positions included Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Commercial Middle Market and Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer from September 2015 to September 2021. Julie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, earned between 1986 and 1991.
