Syed Haroon Rasheed has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Syed Haroon started their career as a Technical Support Engineer at Protech Microsystems India Pvt. Ltd in 1996 and then moved to Microvillage Communications Pvt. Ltd. where they worked as a Technical Support Engineer - NSD. During their tenure there, they handled remote access server installations across India and provided comprehensive remote and onsite support to domestic and international customers. Syed Haroon was also responsible for troubleshooting and implementing new solutions and products.
In 2000, Syed joined Zee Interactive Multimedia Limited as a Manager Networking. Syed Haroon managed the NOC and a team of network and systems engineers. Syed Haroon successfully commissioned and configured LAN/WAN networks, oversaw the administration of Linux servers, and established data connectivity and peering with international clients. Syed Haroon was also involved in troubleshooting LAN/WAN solutions and related products.
After that, Syed worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Yodlee Infotech Pvt. Ltd, where they reviewed and responded to daily incoming emails and handled troubleshooting according to established practices.
In 2003, Syed joined Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Consultant. Syed Haroon was responsible for Intel's Mobile Telephony and Home Connectivity program worldwide. Syed Haroon handled customer and vendor interface for home connectivity issues, tracked expenses, and provided comprehensive support to domestic and international employees. Syed Haroon also coordinated meetings between customers and vendors and provided training to senior team members.
From 2003 to 2004, Syed worked at Alopa Networks Pvt. Ltd. as a Systems Engineer, managing LANs, WANs, VLANs, and programmable switches and routers. Syed Haroon provided assistance using a range of technologies and devices.
In 2004, Syed joined Capgemini Consulting as a Sr. Consultant. Syed Haroon established and implemented new policies and processes for Unix/Linux account maintenance and patching. Syed Haroon also assisted in the company's growth by constructing workstations and providing daily support.
Finally, Syed joined UFO Moviez India Limited in 2006 as Vice President - IT & Networks. Syed Haroon successfully led the global IT function and managed various operations, including application development, operations, telephony, and technical support. Syed Haroon chaired a team of 40 people and managed cost center budgets.
Syed Haroon Rasheed completed their education in a systematic manner, starting with their Kindergarten, Primary, and Middle School education at Nirmala Vidyalaya in Chamrajpet, Bangalore, from 1977 to 1986. Afterward, they attended St. Joseph's High School in Briand Square, Chamrajpet, Bangalore, from 1986 to 1990, where they completed their High School education, studying subjects such as English, Kannada, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Moral Science, History, and Civics.
Following their high school studies, Syed pursued Pre-University education at Christ University in Bangalore from 1990 to 1992. During this period, they studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Subsequently, from 1993 to 1996, Syed attended Al Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College, which is affiliated with Bangalore University. Syed Haroon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science.
After a significant gap in formal education, Syed returned to academia in 2016 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Technology. Syed Haroon attended Venkateshwara Open University from 2016 to 2018 for their postgraduate studies.
