Syed Adeel Afraz

Syed Adeel Afraz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Syed Adeel began their career as a Lecturer and Manager of Software Development at the College of Information Technology in 2000. Syed Adeel then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Gulfnet Pakistan Pvt Ltd from 2002 to 2004. Following that, they served as a Techno-Functional Consultant for Oracle HRMS at Ora-Tech Systems in 2004. Starting from 2005, Syed joined Jazz (previously known as Mobilink) where they held various roles, including Senior Manager of Human Resources - Employee Services. During their time at Jazz, they successfully insourced thousands of outsourced employees in a record time of one month. In 2013, they transitioned to Ufone 4G where they held several strategic HR positions, including Head of HR Services & Relationship Management and Head of Talent Acquisition & People Services. Syed Adeel'smost recent roles at Ufone include Head of Organizational Development & Talent and Group Head of HR Business Partner - North. Currently, they serve as the Group Director HR - Business Growth Partner (Enabling Functions) for both PTCL & Ufone. Throughout their career, Syed has demonstrated expertise in HR management, digitalization, talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.

Syed Adeel Afraz has an educational background in Computer Sciences. Syed Adeel obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Arid Agriculture University, which they attended from 1998 to 2000. In addition, Afraz has acquired several certifications in various fields, including leadership, team management, feedback, and change management from institutions such as FranklinCovey, LinkedIn, and Innovation Network.
