Shane Black

Shane Black serves as the Director of Operations at UFP Packaging since February 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from a prior role as Operations Manager, Plant Manager, and Production Manager at UFP Industries from January 2014 to February 2023. Earlier experience includes an Environmental Intern position at Westmoreland Coal Company, where responsibilities included soil and water sampling, and managing compliance reports related to environmental impact. Additionally, Shane worked as a Recreation Forestry Aid with the US Forest Service, engaging in wildland firefighting and trail maintenance. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management from the University of Wyoming, completed in 2013.
