Monika Tomecka

Monika Tomecka is the founder and executive director of uFraction8. Monika has a background in biomedical research and has worked in various laboratory and marketing roles. Monika studied at Aberystwyth University, where they were also an ambassador for the student union. In January 2017, they joined Deep Science Ventures as a venture founder.

Monika Tomecka studied Genetics and Biochemistry as an undergraduate at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. Monika then went on to complete a Collaborative project at the University of Zurich in Embryonal Development, Evolution, Genetics. Finally, they received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Science from The University of Sheffield.

Their manager is Brian Miller, Founder & MD. Monika Tomecka works with Bartosz Weryho - Design Engineer, Euan McDonald - Biotechnology Engineer, and Catherine Hill - Science Officer.
