Grace Marcon Dal Sasso, RN, PhD, is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in digital health, persuasive technology, and artificial intelligence. With extensive experience at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) since August 2004, Grace serves as a professor and has fulfilled the role of research coordinator. Previously, from January 1997 to June 2004, Grace taught at Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina (UNISUL). Educational qualifications include a post-doctorate in artificial intelligence from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (July 2008 - August 2009) and a PhD in nursing informatics from UFSC (1997 - 2001). Currently, Grace is furthering expertise as a researcher and visiting professor at Columbia University School of Nursing, focusing on artificial intelligence and mobile healthcare.
