Deirdre McGettrick

Deirdre Mc Gettrick is the current CEO at ufurnish.com. Deirdre has over 10 years of experience in the finance industry, with a focus on corporate acquisition finance and leveraged & acquisition finance. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Vice President at HSBC, where they were responsible for originator and deal execution across the UK, the Netherlands and Ireland. Key transactions that they were involved in include the Jumbo $20bn+ financing acquisition packages for Reckitt Benckiser and British American Tobacco, as well as high yield bonds for Premier Foods, Ocado, House of Fraser, Titan Cement and Ceva Logistics. Before HSBC, Deirdre worked at BNP Paribas in their corporate acquisition finance graduate programme. Deirdre completed rotations on the credit analyst team, UK and Ireland Investment Grade DCM (Debt Capital Markets) team and spent 5 months in the Copenhagen office. Deirdre started their career in finance as an intern at Matheson Ormsby Prentice in their banking department and also spent time interning in J.P. Morgan's treasury services department as an assistant relationship manager.

Deirdre Mc Gettrick holds a MSc in Finance from Trinity College Dublin where they graduated with First Class Honours. Deirdre also holds a Law & Accounting degree from the University of Limerick where they graduated with First Class Honours and a GPA of 3.61/4.0.
