Andrew Serugo

Andrew Serugo has over seven years of experience in strategic threat analysis and customs operations at the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), where roles include Strategic Threat Analyst, Strategic Intelligence Analyst, and Customs Officer. Andrew was instrumental in establishing newly created customs stations in Uganda in 2019, employing a multifaceted approach to promote international trade and ensure compliance with tax laws. Andrew also completed a Research Planning and Development internship in June 2016, contributing to client satisfaction and staff motivation assessments. Academically, Andrew holds a Master of Commerce in Financial Management from Amity University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Statistics from Makerere University, along with a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst certification from the Corporate Finance Institute.
