Elena Poklar

Elena Poklar serves as the Group Digital Finance Transformation Lead at UGI International, a position held since 2023, where a focus on finance transformation, digital finance capabilities, financial process optimization, and change management is evident. Elena is responsible for leading finance transformation initiatives across 17 European countries, emphasizing digital solutions and the implementation of ERP enhancements and automation to improve profitability and streamline processes. Prior experience includes a role as the Group Head of Internal Audit at UGI Corporation from 2015 to 2023, overseeing the internal audit function for multiple business units across Europe. Elena began her career at Deloitte from 2010 to 2015 as an Auditor, leading audit engagement teams and conducting financial compliance assessments. Before Deloitte, a consultancy position was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Slovenia from 2008 to 2010. Elena holds a Master's degree from the University of Vienna, earned from 2001 to 2006.
