Brett Herrington

Brett Herrington is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head Coach for both the National Indoor Hockey Women's Program and the National Indoor Men's Program at Hockey Australia since January 2024. Simultaneously, Brett holds the position of HSE Operations Manager for Industrials & Resources at UGL, a role started in August 2021. Prior experience includes several safety management roles at Thiess and Mineral Resources Limited, where Brett contributed significantly to safety and health initiatives, particularly during the development of the Rio Tinto Nammuldi Below Water Table Mine. Brett's career in health and safety commenced as an HSE Advisor at Golder Associates, following time as a retained firefighter and plant operator. Academic credentials include advanced diplomas in Occupational Health and Safety and Public Safety (Police Investigations), along with multiple safety training certifications.
