David Ridgway

David Ridgway is an experienced commercial manager currently serving as Commercial Manager at UGL since December 2022. Prior to this role, Ridgway worked at Ventia from July 2020 to October 2022 as General Manager - Commercial for the Telecommunications sector, overseeing multiple business units across Australia and New Zealand. Ridgway's tenure at Ventia also included the position of National Commercial Manager for the Visionstream NBN Projects Business Unit from 2015 to 2020, following the merger of major contractors. Earlier experience includes serving as Commercial Manager for Silcar Pty Ltd on a significant NBN contract and Contract Manager for the Hunter River Remediation Project. Ridgway began the career as Divisional Surveyor at Miller Homes Ltd and held a Contract Manager position at Thiess on a rail project. Ridgway holds a Bachelor of Building, Construction Economics (Quantity Surveying) from the University of Technology Sydney.
