John Britto MIEAust CPEng, NER, APEC Engr has extensive experience in power generation engineering, currently serving as Generation Tech Lead & Technical Director at UGL Limited since September 2008. In this role, John leads a team of engineers on various projects including open and combined cycle power plants, co-generation facilities, renewable energy projects, and waste-to-energy initiatives in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to UGL, John worked as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Ranhill Group and KNM Group, where notable projects included a 190MW combined cycle power project in Sabah, Malaysia. Earlier in John’s career as a Senior Design Engineer at Cethar Vessels Limited, design responsibilities included heat recovery steam generators and related thermal and mechanical systems. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from MK University, completed in 1990.
