Tony Vaile

Tony was appointed as UGL’s Group General Manager Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) in 2016. In this role Tony is accountable for strategic planning to meet business objectives to reduce HSEQ risk and lead UGL’s sustainability strategy to support their clients decarbonise their operations.

Prior to joining UGL, Tony has held leadership positions in a number of ASX 100 organisations, including BHP, Telstra, Lycopodium and Suncorp. He has worked internationally in developed and developing economies, in a range of high risk industries including; nuclear power generation, underground and open cut mining, and construction.

Tony holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia, a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Health and Safety) from Curtin University and has completed a 12 month international exchange program at Illinois State University (Masters of Industry Safety).
