Benny Douwenga

Benny Douwenga's work experience is as follows:

- From 2010 onwards, they have worked as a Manager and Consultant for Innovation and Funding at UGOO B.V., where they support innovative technology companies in obtaining subsidies and external financing.

- From 2005 to 2009, they worked as an Innovation Consultant at Innovative Partners, where they supported, guided, and consulted organizations in solving complex challenges in product development and innovation. Benny also managed projects and brought in new insights and solution directions using the TRIZ method.

- In 2004, they worked at CREAX NL, where they focused on defining a method for using TRIZ in product development projects and organizing brainstorm workshops. Benny also participated in intellectual property research.

- In 2004, they had an internship at Mepal Rosti, where they worked in product development, engineering, design, and artwork for consumer products related to food and drink storage and serving.

- In 2003, they worked at Koninklijke Boon Edam Group Holding as an R&D Engineer, responsible for creating a technical archive for the R&D department. Benny also provided technical problem-solving, aesthetic advice, and prototype building and testing. Benny had a previous internship at the same company, where they worked on the redesign of certain subassemblies.

- In 2002, they worked as a researcher at Koninklijke Auping bv, conducting a research project on the state of technology for one of their main products, which included beds, mattresses, bed bases, and accessories.

Benny Douwenga completed their VWO (pre-university education) from Stedelijk Lyceum / Kottenpark College in the years 1994 to 2000. After that, they pursued a degree in Werktuigbouwkunde, Industriële Productontwikkeling from Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2004, ultimately earning an Ing. degree.
