Alex Jiao

Alex Jiao has a wealth of experience in the science and technology field. Alex began their career in 2004 as an Engineering Intern at North American Lighting. Alex then attended Northwestern University from 2006 to 2010, followed by a Summer Research Assistant position at the University of Michigan in 2008. Jiao then completed their PhD Candidate role at the University of Washington from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, they co-founded and became the CEO of Silene Biotech, which was later acquired by Curi Bio. In 2019, they took on the role of VP of R&D at Curi Bio, and in 2021 they became the President & Chief Business Officer at Uh-Oh Labs.

Alex Jiao received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2010 and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering from the University of Washington in 2016.
