Christina Phelps

Christina Phelps, CPC, currently serves as a Behavioral Health Coding Specialist at UnitedHealth Group since February 2022. With a strong background in medical coding, Phelps previously held positions such as Medical Coding Quality Analyst at Optum and Outpatient Coder II at Pyramid Healthcare Solutions, among others. Additionally, Phelps is actively involved in youth mentorship as a fully trained Assistant Scoutmaster with BSA Troop 7082 and Troop 4060. Education includes pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and obtaining certifications in Medical Billing and Coding from Snead State Community College.
