Julie Daftari M.D.

Julie Daftari MD currently serves as the East Region Chief Medical Officer for UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement and also holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at UnitedHealthcare Indiana, roles undertaken since April 2015. Prior to this, Julie held the title of Medical Director of Utilization Management at Health Care Excel from May 2014 to April 2015, and served as a Physician Advisor at Executive Health Resources from February 2012 to May 2014. Julie co-owned and worked as a Physician at Primary Care Partners, LLC from March 2005 to January 2012. Julie completed an internship and residency in Family Practice at the Indiana University School of Medicine from 1997 to 2000, after earning a combined BA/MD degree in Medicine from the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 1991 to 1997.
