Lucy Ruwitch Langer

Lucy Ruwitch Langer currently serves as the National Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer for Oncology, Genomics, and Laboratory at UnitedHealth Group, a position held since September 2021, focusing on chemotherapy and utilization management. Prior to this role, Lucy was an oncologist at Compass Oncology from August 2007 to September 2021, specializing in breast cancer, cancer genetics, lymphoma, and general oncology, and also held the position of Practice President, emphasizing chemotherapy. Additionally, Lucy contributed as Chair of the National Policy Board Executive Committee at The US Oncology Network from January 2015 to September 2021 and as Medical Director for the Genetic Risk Evaluation & Testing Program at US Oncology from January 2010 to September 2021. Educationally, Lucy completed a fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and earned a Master of Science in Health Services from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
