Shawna Gisch

Shawna Gisch serves as President of Home & Community Care at UnitedHealth Group, leading Optum’s home-based care business with over 16,000 employees nationwide and impacting 12 million members. Previously, Gisch was CEO of Optum Health Solutions, overseeing a diverse portfolio that served over 300 million consumers and managing a $3 billion P&L. Other notable positions include Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations for UnitedHealthcare Government Programs, responsible for a $2 billion clinical budget, and Vice President of Clinical Strategy for UnitedHealthcare Community & State, focusing on Medicaid quality and affordability across 31 states. Gisch began career at Intel Corporation through a sales and marketing rotational program. Gisch holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University.
