Michael Kardonik

Michael Kardonik is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as Sr. Software Manager and Principal Engineer at Uhnder, Inc., since August 2020, Michael leads host integration for Uhnder radars and oversees SDK and application development while collaborating with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Prior to this, Michael held positions as a Senior Embedded Developer at Helm.ai, where the role involved porting an autonomous drive stack to various embedded platforms, and as Technical Director at NXP Semiconductors, focusing on machine learning accelerator integration and hardware optimization. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Member of Technical Staff at Freescale, where software/hardware co-design and OS architecture for networking processors were key areas of contribution. Michael holds a Master of Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has pursued studies in physics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and Kazan State University.
