Ehab Hanna

Ehab Hanna, MD, MBA, has extensive experience in healthcare and medical information technology, currently serving as Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer at UHS since May 2011. Prior roles include Associate Chief Medical Information Officer and Corporate Medical Director for Clinical Content at UHS, as well as Senior Advisor to the Department of Health Informatics at Bryan University from June 2012 to June 2015. Previously, Ehab Hanna worked at Eastern Maine Medical Center as Assistant Chief Medical Information Officer, focusing on leading quality improvement initiatives through IT solutions such as Computerized Provider Order Entry and Medication Reconciliation. Ehab Hanna's early career included a hospitalist position at Carney Hospital and medical residency. Educational accomplishments comprise an Executive MBA from The Wharton School and an MBBCh from Ain Shams University, along with a 10x10 certificate in Biomedical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University.
