Jose Zambrana

Jose Zambrana, CPA, Esq. serves as the Chief Financial Officer at UHS since April 2022, overseeing the financial operations of multiple acute psychiatric hospitals and partial hospitalization units. Previously, Jose held the position of CFO/Controller at Encompass Health from October 2015 to February 2022, where responsibilities included monthly financial reporting and budget management. Additional experience includes serving as International Controller at StateTrust Life and Annuities, CPA and Attorney at Zambrana Accounting and Law Office, Vice-President & Controller at MAPFRE Life Insurance Co., and Director of Finance at Puerto Rico Health Insurance Administration. Jose's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Interamerican University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Interamerican University.
