Kyra Knapp

Kyra Knapp is the Vice President and Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at UHS, overseeing all privacy activities for a complex health care delivery system. Prior to this role, Kyra served as Privacy Officer for Millennium Physician Group, where responsibilities included managing the Privacy Program across multiple states. Experience at Blue Shield of California as Chief Privacy Officer involved leading privacy initiatives for numerous affiliated entities, while previous roles at UCHealth and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming focused on compliance and legal affairs. Kyra’s legal background includes a decade as a self-employed attorney specializing in litigation. Kyra holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice, complemented by an Associate degree in Paralegal studies.
