Matthew Secko

Matthew Secko is an experienced culinary professional with a strong background in food and nutrition services. Currently serving as the Director of Food and Nutrition Services and Executive Chef at UHS since February 2020, Matthew previously held the position of Executive Chef at Sodexo from November 2018 to February 2020. Prior experience includes roles at Wynn Las Vegas, starting as an Assistant Chef in 2013 and advancing to Assistant Executive Chef, where contributions included menu development for Charlie’s Bar & Grill. Matthew’s extensive experience in culinary operations began at Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel from 2006 to 2012, where responsibilities encompassed budgeting, staff development, and menu planning in various capacities, including Room Chef, Sous Chef, and Banquet Chef. Early career roles also include positions at Empress River Boat Casino and Empress Casino, honing skills in various cooking stations and high-volume production.
