Joe Ward serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Unified Health Services, where Joe has contributed to the company’s status as a national leader in work comp revenue cycle solutions since its establishment in August 1997. Prior to this role, Joe held the position of Vice President of Operations at Third Party Solutions from 1995 to 1997 and worked as a Commercial Loan Officer at both First Tennessee Bank (1991-1995) and Bank of Bartlett (1987-1991). Joe holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Finance from The University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Harding University. Educational background includes early foundational studies at the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis.

Healthcare providers bill claims in 837 format through clearinghouses to UHS. UHS handles the generation and distribution of invoices and performs all collection work. UHS ensures payments are accurate and cash posting is automated with 835 ERAs.
