Andrew joined UHY Hacker Young’s Nottingham office as a partner in 2019 and has over 23 years of experience working in small, medium and Big Four firms. Andrew specialises in family businesses. He greatly admires entrepreneurs who are able to create wealth and employment from their own ideas and hard work and enjoys helping them maximise the benefits of what they have created on all levels.

He helps businesses to achieve whatever they have on their strategic agenda, whether that is growth, succession or financing. He also enjoys helping companies overcome the challenges presented by regulatory and legal changes, and enjoys providing assistance to business owners - wherever the businesses may be in its lifecycle. Andrew also has a keen interest in the charity and not-for-profit sector and acts for a number of small and large charities and membership associations.

He is currently a trading board Member of The Nottingham Contemporary Museum and previously chaired Nottingham Park Estate Limited, a large non-for profit residents association, for eight years. During his time as chair, Andrew was responsible for driving significant change through the organisation and he is still a member of their affiliated trust, The Nottingham Park Conservation Trust Limited.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with wife and three beautiful daughters. He is also a keen cyclist and general sports lover.
