Tim Maris

Tim is our Rural and Agricultural Partner at UHY Hacker Young and has over 22 years’ experience working in the Agricultural sector. Tim has a portfolio of primarily owner managed Agricultural businesses, and enjoys providing business and tax planning advice to both corporate and personal clients. Tim has a degree in Agriculture and has also worked in the industry himself. His wealth of knowledge helps him to understand his clients and relate to the challenges they face. With a deep understanding of the Agricultural and Rural sector, Tim is a real asset to his clients. Some of his proudest achievements include coaching staff and providing a high quality service for his clients. Outside of the office, Tim enjoys sailing, cycling, family activities and walking in the Lake District when he can.
