Laura Lapeer

Laura LaPeer is a highly experienced financial executive with a career spanning over 25 years in various accounting and financial leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at UHY-US since July 2025, Laura has previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Plante Moran and Vice President, Corporate Controller at ProQuest, where responsibilities included overseeing financial reporting, managing external audits, and leading merger and acquisition initiatives. Expertise in implementing internal audit processes, ERP systems, and managing procurement organizations is complemented by a strong foundation in accounting principles gained through earlier positions at IHS Markit, Credit Acceptance, PwC, and Taylor & Morgan. Laura holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan-Flint.
