Nelly Gizdova

Nelly Gizdova, CPA has over 20 years of work experience in the field of accounting. Nelly started their career as an Accountant at Nottingham Properties, Inc., where they handled bank reconciliations, general journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Following this, Nelly worked as an Accountant/Finance Administrator at JPDS-NC, where they were responsible for accounts receivable billing, accounts payable supervision, and monthly payroll and employee benefits.

Nelly then joined Peacock Condron Anderson & Co. as a Senior, where they performed financial statement audits for tax-exempt organizations and for-profit entities. Nelly also provided accounting, consulting, and tax services during their time there.

Nelly later became a Consulting CFO at I.T. Global Systems GS, Inc., where they utilized their expertise to provide financial consulting services to the company.

Currently, they are employed at UHY LLP, Certified Public Accountants as a Managing Director of the Audit and Assurance Practice. Nelly'srole involves providing attestation and consulting services to sponsors of qualified employee benefit plans, not-for-profit organizations, and companies in various industries. Nelly is also responsible for leading the employee benefit plans group and managing a large portfolio of employee benefit plan audits.

Nelly Gizdova, CPA completed their education with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting and Control from the University of National and World Economy, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Hristo Botev High School from 1989 to 1994, focusing on English, Math, and IT. Additionally, Nelly Gizdova holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from Maryland and Virginia.
