Alison Docherty has extensive work experience in the insurance brokerage industry. Alison started their career as a Broker/Account Executive at Miller Insurance Services LLP in 1997, where they focused on business development and maintaining existing accounts, primarily in Europe and Latin America. In 2000, they joined Heath Lambert Insurance Brokers as an Associate Director, specializing in financial institutions in the Latin America region. In 2004, Alison joined Aon Risk Solutions as an Associate Director, responsible for financial institutions in the Europe and Middle East team. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director and Head of Financial Institutions at United Insurance Brokers Limited, a role they have occupied since 2009.
Alison Docherty completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Honours) degree in Applied Language Studies, with a focus on French and Spanish, at the University of West London from 1992 to 1996.
