Ben Walthall

Ben Walthall has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Junior Programmer (Intern) at SAIC. In 2005, they joined the University of Virginia as a Web Developer, where they maintained the Engineering School website and managed E-News campaigns. In 2006, they founded walthall9.com and worked as a Freelance Developer until 2016. In 2007, they joined CGI Federal as a Consultant, and in 2009, they moved to Versivo, where they served as a Senior Consultant until 2016. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Splunk in various sales engineering roles, starting as a Sales Engineer, then progressing to Senior Sales Engineer, and eventually becoming a Staff Sales Engineer. Currently, they are employed at UiPath as a Principal Sales Engineer, starting in February 2021.

Ben Walthall obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications in various fields. These include certifications such as Splunk Certified Architect, Splunk Certified ITSI Specialist, and Splunk Certified Sales Engineer Level III from Splunk. Ben has also received certifications in Business Analytics, People Analytics, Operations Analytics, and Customer Analytics from Coursera Course Certificates. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications as an OnBase Certified API and OnBase Certified Installer from Hyland Software. Most recently, in August 2020, they became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
