Rina Kattan Cohen

Rina Kattan Cohen currently serves as Senior Lead in Strategic Planning & Grants at UJA-Federation of New York, with a focus on grants management and strategic planning within the Caring & Network Department. Previously held roles include Planning Executive and Senior Planning Executive in the same organization, as well as Education Director at Generation Citizen, where the leadership of civics education initiatives was central. Rina Kattan Cohen also gained hands-on teaching experience at P.S. 84 Lillian Weber School of the Arts and engaged in various educational and nonprofit roles through internships and practicum experiences in settings such as the American Jewish World Service and the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. Rina Kattan Cohen holds a Master of Public Administration from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Barnard College, alongside additional educational experiences in community development and international studies.
