Prakash Mahapatro

Prakash Mahapatro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Prakash is currently working as the Chief Manager - Talent Acquisition at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank since December 2022. In this role, they oversee the talent acquisition process for the entire west region, managing a team of 8 members and coordinating with more than 30 departments. Prior to this, Prakash worked as a Manager Talent Acquisition at Bajaj Finserv from October 2021 to December 2022, where they were responsible for hiring talents across regions for specific businesses. Prakash handled end-to-end hiring for CD loans and PL loans-collection. Before joining Bajaj Finserv, Prakash served as a Sales Lead(HR) at EeVe from March 2020 to September 2021. Prakash began their career as a Human Resources Intern at Angel Broking in April-May 2019. Prakash also gained experience as an Associate at State Bank of India from January 2017 to June 2018. In this role, they sourced loan applications, conducted pre-sanctions surveys, and provided recommendations to the Branch Manager.

Prakash Mahapatro completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar) from 2018 to 2020. Prior to this, they obtained a degree in Forestry Science with a focus on Agricultural Business and Management from Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Prakash has also obtained several certifications. These include "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google Digital Garage in April 2020, "Leadership Communication for Maximum Impact: Storytelling" from Northwestern University in October 2019, "Leadership through Social Influence" from Northwestern University in October 2019, "High Performance Collaboration" from Northwestern University in 2019, and "People Analytics" from the University of Pennsylvania.
