Sam Wells has a diverse work experience in procurement and management roles. Sam is currently the Head of Procurement at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, where they previously served as a Procurement Manager. Prior to that, Sam worked at Sovereign Housing Association as a Senior Procurement Manager and later as a Supplier Lifecycle Manager. Sam also has experience at GfK, where they held positions such as Strategic Procurement Manager, Operations & Procurement Manager, and Associate Director. In addition, Sam has worked as a Volunteer Youth Mentor at Oxfordshire County Council and as an Office Manager at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Sam Wells earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Sunderland in 1993. In 2003, they completed a postgraduate certificate in primary education from Oxford Brookes University.
