Rebekah Edgar

Rebekah Edgar has extensive experience in educational data management and operational delivery within the UK education sector. Currently serving as Acting Deputy Director of the Education Data Division at the Department for Education since September 2015, Rebekah leads initiatives that centralize data functions to support policy-making. Previously, as Head of the School Performance Data Unit, Rebekah managed a team of 35 in delivering high-profile outputs, including the School Performance Tables. Rebekah's career also includes leadership roles at the Standards and Testing Agency and the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, where accountability for national testing programs and operational delivery was paramount. Rebekah holds a Professional Certificate in Management from the Open University, a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Sheffield, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from Sheffield Hallam University.
