Rob Knight-Strong

Rob Knight-Strong (FCCA) currently serves as the Corporate and Finance lead for Sustainability and Climate Change at the Department for Education, where responsibilities include implementing TCFD recommendations, ensuring corporate sustainability strategy delivery, and managing financial reporting for the sustainability portfolio. Previously, Rob was the action area lead for Sustainability and Climate Change at the same department, contributing to the creation of its first sustainability strategy. Additional experience includes roles as a Finance Business Partner at the Department for Education, a Financial Strategy Coach at Port Helix, and a Financial Accountant at the Forestry Commission. Rob's career began with a trainee accountant position at the Scottish Government, where key contributions included preparing consolidated annual accounts and managing financial governance. Educational qualifications encompass an LL.B (Hons) in Law from Sheffield Hallam University and ACCA professional qualifications.
