David Raw Cbe

David Raw CBE currently serves as Managing Director of Commercial Finance at UK Finance since May 2023. Prior to this role, David held several prestigious positions, including Director of Cross Cutting Policy and Strategy and Director of Consumer and Retail Policy at the Financial Conduct Authority from September 2021 to April 2023, and Director for Banking and Credit at HM Treasury from September 2015 to September 2021. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Director for Cyber Security at the Cabinet Office and Head of Competition in Banking at HM Treasury. David's academic background includes a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford and a Master's degree in Political Philosophy from the University of York.
