Serena Pinto

Serena Pinto is a communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and press office management. Currently serving as a Manager and Press Officer at UK Finance since January 2025, Serena previously held the position of Communications Associate in the Press Office & Digital at the Payment Systems Regulator from December 2021 to January 2025. During this time, responsibilities included managing media inquiries, drafting press releases, and fostering relationships with journalists. Prior to that, Serena contributed to the Charity Commission for England and Wales, beginning as a GCS intern in 2019 and later being promoted to a full-time role, where engagement with media outlets and rapid response to high-interest cases were key tasks. Serena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Nottingham, completed in 2020.
