Louise James

Louise James has extensive work experience in various roles within the retail industry. Louise is currently serving as the Head of Branded Product at UK Greetings since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Buying Director at DUSK.com from February 2022 to July 2022. From March 2021 to February 2022, Louise James held the position of Retail Strategy & New Business Director at GIG Retail. Before that, they had a long tenure at Asda, where they held multiple senior management positions including Senior Manager Ecommerce, Senior Category & Modular Planning Manager, Senior Buying Manager for George Home, Senior Buying Manager for DVD & Music, and Senior Buying Manager for Homewares. Louise also served as a Buying Manager for Home & Garden and Buyer for Toys during their time at Asda. Louise began their career as a Buying Assistant for Sporting Goods & Toys at Asda in March 2001.

Louise James completed a postgraduate course in Business Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science from the University of Leeds, which they completed between 1997 and 2000. In addition to their formal education, Louise also obtained a certification in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) in October 2022.
