Joseph L. Bobadilla, MD RPVI FACS FSVS has a diverse range of work experience. Joseph L. began their career at the Lexington Veteran Affairs Medical Center in 2012 as a Physician and also joined the University of Kentucky as an Associate Professor in the same year. In 2013, they took on multiple roles at UK HealthCare, including serving as the Medical Director of The Kentucky Clinic - General Surgery Clinics and the Director of Clinical Decision Support. In 2018, Dr. Bobadilla joined St. Claire Regional Medical Center as a Physician until 2023. In the same year, they returned to UK HealthCare as the Medical Director. Overall, Dr. Bobadilla has demonstrated strong leadership and clinical expertise throughout their career.

Joseph L. Bobadilla, MD RPVI FACS FSVS obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1999. Joseph L. then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they completed a General Surgery Residency at the same institution from 2004 to 2005. Dr. Bobadilla subsequently engaged in a Research Fellowship focusing on Transplant Immunobiology from 2005 to 2007, as well as a Capstone in Clinical Trials Design & Biostatistics during the same period. Continuing their education, they pursued a General Surgery Residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2007 to 2010. Lastly, they completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2010 to 2012.
