Samantha Bochenek

Samantha Bochenek, PharmD, MBA, BCPS has a range of work experience in the healthcare and pharmacy field. Samantha started their career in 2008 as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Caremark Corporation, where they worked until 2014. In 2014, they joined UK HealthCare as a PGY1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration Resident. Samantha continued working at UK HealthCare and held various positions including Associate Director, Infusion Pharmacy Services and Director, Infusion Pharmacy Services. In 2017, they also became an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky. Currently, they serve as the Director of Infusion Pharmacy Services & Pharmacy Systems at UK HealthCare, and also holds the position of Director of the PGY1/2 Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency program.

Samantha Bochenek, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, completed their Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2008 to 2013. Samantha then pursued their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree with a focus in the Clinical Scholars Track at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy from 2010 to 2014. Samantha later obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Kentucky in 2016. Samantha has also obtained various additional certifications throughout their career, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Managers' Boot Camp.
