Stephen Welch

Stephen Welch possesses extensive experience in academic and research technology management within the healthcare and medical education sectors. Currently serving as the Academic and Research Technology Manager at University of Kentucky HealthCare since January 2015, Stephen previously held the position of Director of IT at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine from July 2008 to January 2015. Additional roles include Tech Administrator for Pathology & Lab Medicine at the University of Kentucky from July 2001 to June 2008 and Staff Assistant at Morehead State University from 1997 to 2001. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems from Morehead State University, where studies were completed between 1997 and 2001.
