Nerys Oates

Nerys Oates has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies. Nerys began their career as a Placement Student at Yaxley, Davies & Co, where they gained valuable skills in auditing, account preparation, and tax returns. Afterward, they worked at Celestica in various roles, including Group Financial Accountant, Business Stream Accountant, and Financial Accounting Manager. Following their role at Celestica, they joined Teletrac Navman UK as the European Financial Controller and later became the Finance Manager, overseeing HMRC activities, implementing process changes, and facilitating various transfers and implementations. Most recently, they worked at ONE TO ONE (NORTH WEST) LIMITED as the Finance Manager, responsible for managing the finance team, recording financial activity, producing management accounts, and managing cashflows. Currently, Nerys Oates holds the position of Chief Accountant at UK Landscapes Ltd.

Nerys Oates completed their O Levels and A Levels at Wakeman Grammar School from 1974 to 1982. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance at Nottingham Trent University from 1982 to 1986. Later, in 1994, they joined The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants to obtain their CIMA certification in CGMA, but no end year is provided for this education.
