Richard Broadwith has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Richard started their career as a Network Helpdesk Administrator at UK Mission Enterprise in October 2007. Richard then progressed to become a Service Desk Analyst - 2nd Line, Technical Analyst, Technical Architect, and finally, the Technical Manager at the same company. In March 2023, they became the Head of IT at UK Mission Enterprise. Prior to that, Richard worked as an IT Support & Database Administrator at West Herts NHS Trust from June 2003 to September 2006. Richard also briefly worked as a Project Support Specialist at NHS Connecting for Health in June 2005.

Richard Broadwith attended Birmingham City University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a BSc degree in Computer Networks for Business. Richard also has several additional certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in January 2014, VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 5 from VMware in February 2012, Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)2 in November 2011, Certified Forensic Investigation Practitioner from 7Safe in November 2010, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Microsoft in May 2010, VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 4 from VMware in January 2010, and Check Point Certified Security Administrator from Check Point in July 2009.
